In case you haven’t heard, Quentin Tarantino adores feet. As a self-proclaimed member of the foot fancy club, Tarantino often slips his foot fascination into films. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you haven’t noticed, it’s easy to get distracted by Tarantino’s witty dialogue and captivating violence. So relax and kick your feet up as DMG Entertainment highlights some of Tarantino’s most notable foot scenes.
PULP FICTION (1994) – THE FOOT MASSAGE DEBATE
Hitmen Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) have an in-depth discussion on the sexual nature of a foot massage. For roughly three minutes and thirty seconds, the two argue if a foot massage is a form of intimacy. After Jules proudly declares himself as “the foot f**kin’ master”, Vincent ends the debate abruptly, asking Jules, “Would you give a guy a foot massage?”
PULP FICTION (1994) – ENTER MIA WALLACE
The moment Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) meet, Tarantino focuses the camera on the back of her feet, the same feet which sent one of Mia’s husband’s associates to the emergency room.
FROM DUSK TILL DAWN (1996) – STOP CREEPING
As killer brothers Seth (George Clooney) and Richard Gecko (Quentin Tarantino) shoot their way to Mexico, Richard fantasizes about hostage Kate Fuller (Juliette Lewis) while staring at her bare feet.

When the Gecko brothers arrive south of the border, the Gecko brothers enjoy the seductive dancer Santanico Pandemonium’s (Salma Hayek) racy table dance. At one point, Santanico approaches Richard, puts her foot into his mouth and pours champagne down her leg – how many takes do you think that took?
JACKIE BROWN (1997) – PINKY TOE BRUSH
While Ordell Robbie (Samuel L. Jackson) and Louis Gara (Robert De Niro) discuss a business partner’s rapid success, Robbie’s scandalous girlfriend Melanie Ralston (Bridget Fonda) flirts with Gara by gently brushing her pinky toe against his whisky glass.
KILL BILL (2003) – GET THOSE PIGGIES WIGGLING
After waking up from a coma, The Bride (Uma Thurman) escapes the hospital and breaks into Buck’s (Michael Bowen) infamous truck. The Bride stretches herself across the backseat and tries to will her legs out of entropy. Propping herself up, she patiently stares at her feet and repeatedly commands, “Wiggle your big toe”.
DEATH PROOF (2007) – OPENING CREDITS
In the opening credits of the grindhouse feature, “Death Proof”, the camera centers on a pair of feet laying on a car’s dashboard. The feet belong to actress Shannon Hazlett, the foot double for Arlene (Vanessa Ferlito).
DEATH PROOF (2007) – THE “ACCIDENTAL” BUMP
When Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) leaves a convenience store, first sees Abernathy (Rosario Dawson), she’s got her feet sticking out of a car window. Realizing she’s asleep, Mike throws down his keys and proceeds to lick his finger tip and run it across her toes. When Abernathy wakes up, Mike bends over and picks up his keys, as if he accidentally brushed against her feet.
INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS (2009) – IF THE SHOE FITS…
During the première of “Nation’s Pride”, Col. Hans Landa (Christopher Waltz) interrogates German actress Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger). Landa demands Hammersmark place her foot on his lap and proceeds to delicately remove her shoe. Landa further instructs Hammersmark to try on a shoe discovered at the pub shootout. Spoiler – It fits perfectly, confirming the actress’ guilt.
