Job title: Art Director

Report to :Creative Director/Group Head
Subordinate:

Purpose of the role
Formulate design concepts and presentation approaches, and direct workers engaged in art work, layout design for visual communications media.

Accountabilities:

  • Supervises and monitors artists to ensure the quality and timeliness of print layouts and online PP
  • Provides technical and creative support in generating layouts and finished ads
  • Reviews and assesses existing ads based on the principles of effective advertising suggests/implements improvements as needed;
  • Provides training to artists on creating effective business ads: implements the principles of effective business advertising in all work generated by the artists
  • Assists in management planning by providing reports on team member productivity, ad exceptions, deadline compliance, and hardware and software requirements
  • Undertakes any special project or duty assigned by superiors

Capability Requirements

Qualification

  • University or college graduate, major in arts area is preferred
  • 5-year working experience in related fields
  • Familiar in using InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, have basic concept over Printing progress
  • Fluent in writing & speaking in English
  • Good MAC user with creativity
