Job title: Creative Director

Report to :ECD
Subordinate :Associate Creative Director/Group Head


Purpose of the role:
The Creative Director is ultimately responsible for the Creative execution of the Client’s brand expansion strategies throughout Greater China as part of a global brand campaign. The Creative Director manages the Creative team, ensuring that the Client receives the most insightful, creative and comprehensive marketing solutions possible across a variety of media. The Creative Director is accountable for the quality of all Creative deliverables and the overall success of the Client’s brand campaign. The Creative Director works closely with the Group/Senior Account Director, Retail Director and Experience Architect to ensure that the Creative product exactly matches the Client’s specific strategic requirements.



  • Provide Creative leadership, facilitate brainstorm sessions and generate innovative, fresh ideas that encapsulate the Client’s brand ambitions
  • Continually enhance individual and teamcollective knowledge to achieve excellent results in ongoing Creative work
  • Be ultimately responsible for and sign off on creative execution, ensuring high-quality creative deliverables
  • Manage project creative scope, schedule and budgets, including creative estimates and resource tracking
  • Manage andmentor Creative employees, ensuring effective contributions and individual career growth
  • Lead and direct the Creative teamto conceptualize, develop and deliver a “best in class” Creative product
  • Apply brand identity systems, typography, photography, color and other ingredients appropriately to create innovative visual solutions thatmeet business and user needs Visualize, design and conceptualize engaging user experiences across a variety of media Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of the Creative team’s culture and quality standards
  • Delegate day-to-day responsibilities to other Designers, Art Directors, CopyWriters and Digital Strategists
  • Collaborate with Strategy,Media, Account, and Retail representatives to create and develop exciting and innovative brand solutions for the Client

Capability Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Design, Communications or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Creativemanagement role withinGreater China
  • Previous 4A and/or international Ad agency experience
  • Extensive knowledge of the Chinese luxury automotive industry and luxury consumer
  • Must have previous experience leading integrated creative campaigns and teams
  • Solid understanding of Agency and creative process
  • A prove track record and ability to execute award winning creative
  • Continually drive for results and highest quality standards
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to keep composure in high stress situations
  • Experienced peoplemanager, demonstrating strongmentoring and leadership abilities
  • Superior organizational and timemanagement skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker with the ability to lead
